HomeSweetSiliconValley asked:

I use Win XP and Windows Media Player to burn backups of my CDs. This works fine for playing on my car stero system. But it's a no-go on my portable CD player and my Nakamichi wakeup CD player. My car player doesn't play mp3 files so I'm sure it's burning to standard CD format. Any thoughts?
Thanks. I just opened one of the disks in Explorer and the files are .cda. A friend of mine burns CDs in his computer and I am able to play those. Another theory I have is that I bought Internet CD RWs and either the quality or the RW is preventing the playing.

I would like instructions on how to set the time on my Blaupunkt INDIANAPOLIS CD34 Car CD Player. I have tried without any success. Thank you.

I'd like to get rid of the stock cd player that came with the car and replace it with a nice stylish one. I don't need all the gadgets, just a nice looking one that will play my cds.

Any advice on brands or any other info you can provide?

Thank you :)

I have a feature on my pioneer cd player, its LOUD-LOW and LOUD-HIGH, does anyone know what these do and whats the difference? Anyone know how to change the clock on an older pioneer car cd player?
NereidoftheBlue asked:

I have a Honda Accord (97 I think - not sure) and my CD player is currently a 12 disc changer. The problem is that it's basically broken and all 12 of my CDs in there are stuck, and the fact that the box where you insert the discs is in the trunk makes it much more of a huge pain.

Anyway, how much would it cost to at least get the CDs out of that box and get, at the very least, a normal cd player in the front of the car? And where do I get it done at? I would love for them to take out the whole 12-disc changer, but if it's gonna cost more, I'd rather them leave it there and just install the new one. I'm not sure how these things work so please be understanding. I have almost no knowledge about cars.

So basically that's just what I want to do, get a CD player that actually works for my car, and get my CDs out of that broken CD changer in the trunk, and if it's not gonna cost anything, I'd like it removed, but if it is, I'd rather leave it there broken.

My 18 month old put my debit card in the car CD player and I have no idea how to get it out!

I have a '99 mistubishi eclipse, and yes it has that stupid audio code to make the cd player work, well I'm saying f*** it and just going to install a car cd player that I already have. So....anybody know any places near Ft Polk, LA? I've already googled it so dont bother with those responses.
sanderbilly asked:

i recently got a new car cd player because my old one just quit working. The only problem is , is that the back square plastic prongs do not match each other, the one on the new cd player is larger than the cord from the old one....so is this cd player not going to work, or is there something i can buy to make it fit?

I've tried to burn two cd's already from both windows media and itunes. Neither one will play in my car CD player. All it says is that there's an error. Its a 2007 car, so it's a relatively new CD player. What did I do wrong?
Emily M asked:

Ok, so I just bought a used car about 2 weeks ago and the cd player works, but it will only play 1 cd. I've tried playing about 5 or 6 other cds and it will only play the Pussycat Dolls cd. I think it just needs to be cleaned, because I know my cds play fine in other stereos. Any ideas? I appreciate it!
